Uniturn 500 CNC Lathe is another model in Uniturn family. The admit between centers on this CNC Lathe is 500mm. All the other specifications are same as Uniturn 300 CNC lathe.
In this CNC Lathe machine we can provide a programmable tailstock. The tail stock moves on LM-Guides actuated by ball screw and independent servo motor. On shafts which are slender in nature, the force applied through the tail stock for machining has to be controlled to avoid buckling of the shaft which is possible using programmable tail stock. The programmable tail stock can be positioned exactly at any place which will be highly useful in regular production.The clamping arrangement can either be a power chuck or collect attachment. Lengthy rods upto 1meter and diameter upto 50mm can be inserted and machined continuously using a bar puller. The finished component after parting can be collected in a parts collector and collection tray.Uniturn 500 CNC Lathe can be fitted with live tool turret for machining parts which require additional operations like milling or drilling/ tapping at different places.
For certain specific parts likes Rotor machining, sheet metal facing etc where only a single tool is required, the same can be arranged instead of a turret.
